Job Description
The Senior Associate, SNAP E&T National Partnership Project, is responsible for supporting the achievement of deliverables associated with the SNAP E&T National Partnerships Project. Qualifications

A minimum four-year Bachelor of Arts or Sciences degree in business, public administration, social work, or a related field of study is required, and a Master’s degree is preferred. Knowledge and experience with risk management, quality improvement, program management, nonprofit management, and governance issues is desired. Developing and implementing a project plan
The Senior Associate will be responsible for developing and implementing a clear and effective project plan to achieve project deliverables associated with the SNAP E&T National Partnerships Project. Providing training and technical assistance to Community Action Agencies

This includes developing training materials, delivering training sessions, and providing ongoing support and guidance to CAAs. The goal is to build the capacity of CAAs to effectively implement SNAP E&T programs and services.
Facilitating learning cohorts for Community Action Agencies
The Senior Associate will develop and facilitate learning cohorts for Community Action Agencies to support the development of new SNAP E&T partnerships. These learning cohorts will bring together expert partner T/TA providers and peer Community Action Agency experts to share knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned. The Senior Associate will oversee the coordination and logistics of the learning cohorts and facilitate productive discussions and collaboration among participants.
Disseminating information and resources to the Community Action network
A key responsibility of the Senior Associate is to develop, curate, and disseminate effective information and resources to the Community Action network regarding SNAP E&T third-party services and partnership opportunities. Leadership in resource development and outreach
The Senior Associate will provide leadership in resource development and outreach to the Community Action network, specifically related to the intersection of effective food/nutrition programs and employment/training programs. The Senior Associate will also collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop innovative resources and strategies to support the integration of food/nutrition and employment/training programs.
Supporting management activities
The Senior Associate will support management activities, including participating in budget development, grant reporting, and grant writing. This involves ensuring compliance with funding requirements, tracking project expenses, and preparing reports for funders. The Senior Associate will also contribute to the development of organizational policies and procedures related to SNAP E&T implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
Responding to requests regarding new SNAP E&T partnerships
As requests arise regarding the implementation of new SNAP E&T partnerships from Community Action Agencies, State Associations, and State CSBG Lead Agencies, the Senior Associate will be responsible for responding to and addressing these requests. This may involve conducting research, providing guidance and technical assistance, and facilitating the development of partnership agreements.
Coordinating SNAP E&T outreach information/resources
The Senior Associate will play a key role in coordinating SNAP E&T outreach information and resources for Community Action Agencies. This includes collecting and organizing relevant information, developing outreach materials, and disseminating them through various channels. The Senior Associate will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the effective coordination and distribution of outreach information and resources.
Participating in project-related planning and training activities
The Senior Associate will actively participate in project-related planning and training activities, such as the Partnership’s Annual Convention and Management and Leadership Training Conference. This may involve contributing to the development of conference agendas, delivering presentations or workshops, and facilitating discussions and networking opportunities. The Senior Associate will also collaborate with colleagues to identify training needs and develop relevant training materials.
Managing data collection and analysis
Data collection and analysis are critical components of the Senior Associate’s role. The Senior Associate will be responsible for managing the collection, organization, and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data related to project effectiveness. This includes designing data collection tools, conducting data entry and cleaning, analyzing data using appropriate statistical methods, and preparing reports and presentations to communicate findings and insights.
